My Vision
PEOPLE OVER POLITICS
Helping Local Businesses & Planning
Strict building rules become a hindrance to what our neighborhoods need. We will use the good things already in our communities to help them grow as well as improving roads, safety, health and education.
Small businesses are the backbone of our state and by giving entrepreneurs grants, training, and advice, they'll thrive. Revamping insurance will help to lower the risk for business owners.
"Pop Districts" will be created in special areas for public art, unique shops, and new health centers that use technology. Reusing old buildings and schools, calling them "Community Prosperity Zones," become places for education and new businesses.
Uniting for a Better Future
Friends, neighbors, fellow Texans, I stand before you today not in offense, but in my own defense—and in defense of every single one of us who understands the true meaning of the ghetto hustle of survival. The economy is tough, and many of us are doing our absolute best just to stay afloat. Some realities are just different. The bills others create, they can pay off. For many of us, our ability to pay is optional, not because we seek to be exempt, but because we come from a different mindset, a different background, a different payscale. This system, whether you are rich or poor, finds a way to feed off everyone, no matter their level. I can only do so much in my lane, just as you can only do what you can in yours, but we all come to conclusions.
Commending Survival,
Not Penalizing It
I want to create a way that honors those who, like me, understand this reality. No one should be penalized for their efforts to survive; instead, they should be commended for pushing past their situations to create new and better paths. We need to acknowledge and celebrate the ingenuity and resilience born from destitute survival techniques.
Holding Our Representatives Accountable
Too many people continue to vote for politicians who deceptively cross into our communities without truly understanding our struggles. They don't see the work that hasn't been done. Nothing has been done because, for some, the system isn't designed to help you grow, but to stagnate. Look at the work not done by my opponent. For a conservative, she's voted for all or a majority of Democratic issues. She's not a Republican In Name Only(Rino); she's a Democrat.
Because Texas doesn't hold you accountable as a state to a party, candidates can creep in unaware, their true affiliations hidden unless their voting record is scrutinized. My first act as your representative will be to see this changed by allowing candidates and voters to declare how they represent themselves as a voter. We deserve transparency and accountability from those who seek to lead us.
Improving Our Schools &
How Students Learn
Schools have veered so far away from the basic subjects like reading, writing, and math. Clear rules must be created for students and teachers so they respect each other and learning isn't interrupted. States will soon have power diverted back to them. The school system needs to be returned back to its original values and emphasis on state mandated testing needs to be minimized. When the schools improve, students will return to the public classrooms and there will be no need for vouchers.
Making Sure Our Leaders
Are Honest
Our opponent's actions don't match what she says she believes. We will suggest a new law that makes candidates and voters clearly state which party they belong to, so voters aren't tricked. Our campaign is about fighting against those who try to silence us and bringing back strong beliefs.
Bridging the Divide
This society has caused us to be divided, seeing each other in classes and statures that tear us apart in every aspect of our lives. No matter how we try to build, this hidden system seems to feed off these divisions. It has taught us to retreat to our comfort zones, finding think tanks that reinforce our separate views rather than unite us. We no longer think from a place of unity, and that is why we are talking past each other.
There are too many paths that keep us from truly seeing one another, from seeing our neighbors. When we stop seeing community, we need to start seeing family, because that is where we all come from.
Our Plan for Working
with the Community
Fund missionary programs and encourage new ideas in our communities. Create official groups of local residents to make neighborhood plans. Actively use money from the state and federal government.
Publicly check our progress, so we are held accountable. Look at ways for doctors and natural healers to work together, and we will find solutions to bad building rules.
Bring back community meetings to help people talk and work together. Also, use events like food truck gatherings to bring people together and suggest ways to fix the bad effects of old rules that hurt certain neighborhoods.
Our Path Forward: Unity
I am not the only one facing these problems, but I am here in the forefront, ready to address them. We have to begin to unite. It's time we come together, understand each other's realities, and build a system that truly serves everyone, not just a select few.
Join me in creating a path where we commend survival, demand accountability, and, most importantly, unite as a community and as a family. Are you ready to build that future together?
